The Blinds- In Texas Holdem, there is a disc called the "button" that designate which player has his turn to be the dealer for the current game. Before the game starts, the player will turn clockwise the button posts to "small blind" , a Terxas Holde term which is normally half the small bet ( for example 1$ in a 2$/4$ game.) Then the player quickly turn clockwise from the small blind post to the "big blind ", another Texas Holdem term , which is always a full small bet ( 2$ in a 2$/4$ game.) After doing so , the players will receive their two hole cards.

Pre-Flop This is another interesting Texas Holdem term. Upon knowing their pocket cards, each player is given the chance to play his or her hand by calling or raising the "big Blind". As we have said, the big blind is the amount of a full small bet.So in a Texas Holdem game, which is 2$/4$ game, it will cost 2$ to call in the early round of betting. This is known as the pre-flop.

Normally in a Texas Holdem game there are three important actions which are available. These actions come depending on the action taken by the previous player. However, each poker player has the option to fold. The first player can do whichever he wants in between betting, calling, or even raising. Succeeding player can make the choice of calling or raising. Texas Holdem term "call" means to bet the same amount the previous player has bet. "Raise" , another Texas holdem term is to match the previous bet and increase the bet.

The "flop" is a Texas Holdem poker term for the cards that are being dealt face-up on the board. The "flop" is composed of the first three community cards given to all active players Betting starts when the active player quickly turns clockwise the button. All of the raises as well as the bets can occur in the small bets depending on various increments which the player may choose. The same procedure is done to complete the round of poker betting.

When betting is completed for the flop round, the "turn" is given face-up on the board. The "turn" is another Texas Holdem term for the fourth community card . Then the play starts with the active player quickly turn clockwise the button. Same procedure follows as discussed above except that the bet doubles from small to big bet.
